Pennine Productions

Pennine Productions LLP is an independent radio production company formed in 2007 by two experienced Radio 4 freelance reporters and producers, based across the Pennines. From 2000 to 2007, we made up one half of the quartet that set up the original Pennine Productions [Pennine Productions (Archive) LLP]

Our aim then, as now, was to make programmes about people that showed there was life outside London and the south-east of England. So the four of us covered stories from across the north of England, as well as from Scotland and Orkney, Australia, Austria, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Guatemala, India, Namibia, Nepal, Russia, South Africa, Ukraine and the USA.

Most of these programmes were made for BBC Radio 4, with a few for BBC World Service and BBC Radio 3. More information about them is available on the Pennine Productions’ Archive website.
